"Endurance Karting heads to Atlanta"
By Johann Schwartz At Lamar County a single mistake will cost you several positions. The great banking turn and a set of S's will give many drivers a run for their money. With the many improvements they have made to the track even drivers with experience at the track will have to use their skills to relearn the track's best racing line. All drivers signing up for the school at Atlanta Friday, April 5, will receive a pair of racing gloves and a rib protector. Team managers signing a team up for the race and two drivers for the school will get a free driving suit, a rib protector and a set of racing gloves. Get your team-members together and have some fun.
There are still three spots left for the Charlotte race school on April 19 and the team spots are quickly filling up for the 8-hour race on Saturday and 4-hour race on Sunday. Make sure you sign up now, if you know that you will be competing in these races. Also the Lime Rock race on June 8 and the July 6 and 7 races at Road America during the ALMS race are filling up fast. Our next update on Endurance Karting will have driver's tips on how to race on a wet track and an update on the first U.S. race on a university campus, the inaugural UMass Amherst 6-hour which will be open to the public.
