Turk Bros. Racing
A complete kart shop specializing in 4-cycle engine building and rebuilding
MASON CITY, IOWA --
Turk Bros. Racing is one of the premier kart shops in the Midwest, however, it is their work inside of a 4-cycle engine that has made them renowned in the karting industry.
Turk Bros. Racing blueprints and rebuilds between 850-975 racing engines per year. This success can be attributed to customer service and 4-cycle motors of the highest quality.
This high level of quality can only be attained through a complete and up-to-date machine shop. Milling machines, Sunnen honing machines, a centerless valve grinding machine, a Dynanometer and a Superflow 110 flow bench allow Turk Bros. Racing to create greatness in your 4-cycle motor.
Turk Bros. Racing knows what it takes to make a championship motor. David Turk, a 10 time national champion, brings his knowledge and experience into the construction of every motor. Turk Bros.' customers have 26 IKF Grandnational championships, hundreds of wins and numerous track records to attest to the power of a Turk Bros.' motor. Rod Stewart, a IKF and street racing champion, is a loyal Turk Bros. customer.
In addition to their motor business, Turk Bros. Racing has a vast retail operation. Over $200,000 in parts inventory allows Turk Bros. Racing to keep their prices low. Some of the products on hand are Burris, Wiseco, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Ratech, Horstman, Douglas Wheels, Van-K, Cool Power Oil, Power Plus Oil, Coyote Karts, Outerwears, Digatron gauges and EK chains just to name a few. Along with this vast product line, Turk Bros. Racing has an extensive knowledge of mail ordering to ensure your products get there as quickly as possible.
Turk Bros. Racing attends the IKF 4-cycle Speedway Grandnationals just about every year, and approximately 20 local events each year. At these events Turk Bros. Racing always offers its assistance to any of their customers who need it.
Turk Bros. Racing began in 1986. "At the time we had won two Duffys and some of our competitors needed parts and engines, and at that time there weren't many kart shops," said John Turk, owner of Turk Bros. Racing. Nine years later Turk Bros. Racing is a leader in the karting industry.
