Piedmont Kart Shop has been servicing kart racers for 13 years by making sure that they have the parts and products in stock that the customer needs.
Piedmont Kart Shop is the manufacturer of the PHOENIX sprint chassis. This chassis has had numerous IKF and WKA titles to its credit. Plenty of championship know how goes into this chassis as Jody Jolly, 17-time National Champion, works at Piedmont Kart Shop.
They also make the PIEDMONT KAR which is currently run in the WKA Grand National Mini-Car class. These scaled down versions of Winston Cup cars have been sweeping the entire country.
Piedmont Kart Shop also offers kit engines, machine service and parts and accessories.
"Our specialty is having the product in stock when customers need them, especially Horstman products," noted Sherry Kenworthy. Sherry is owner, along with her husband Glenn, of Piedmont Kart Shop.
Piedmont Kart Shop offers a full line of karting products such as Horstman; Wiseco; Burris; Bridgestone/Firestone; Dunlop; Longacre; Tillotson; Ratech; Digatron; Fel Pro Products; Outerwears Pre-Filters; Tecumseh; RLV; FHS Oils; Van-K; Douglas Wheels; Enginetics; MCP; Briggs & Stratton; G-Man Products and Max-Torque.
Whatever the item may be all orders are welcomed-big or small.
Glenn and Sherry Kenworthy began the business in 1983. Glenn Kenworthy began building engines as a hobby, and this progressed into selling parts and the creation of Piedmont Kart Shop.
Piedmont Kart Shop is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and on Saturday 8 a.m. - noon.
