Bonsignore Racing has made its name by building custom built 4-cycle race engines for champions across the country.
Along with their custom built 4-cycle race engines, Bonsignore Racing Engines is also known for its engine blueprinting, custom ground cams and VRP precision flowed carburetors.
Bonsignore Racing is able to do computerized engine dyno work along with in-house custom grounding of cams. This type of quality work is continually assure through the complete engine shop on hand at Bonsignore Racing. Machines such as a True Acceleration Computerized Dynamometer. Also all machine jigs and fixtures used in the engine building process are fabricated in-house.
Why are Bonsignore motors so successful? "Bonsignore engines are the product of continuous research and testing using the most precise computerized dyno available," said Doug Ferri, owner of Bonsignore Racing Engines. "All machine work is performed on premises by experienced engine builders who are also top rated machinists not just lawn mower mechanics. All machine fixtures and jigs are fabricated in house by the same experienced staff. Each engine is custom built for the specific application whether it be stock, super stock, limited, junior dragster of literally any application in 4-cycle karting," continued Ferri.
The proof is in the results that Bonsignore motors have achieved, and the championship drivers who put their trust in Bonsignore motors. Drivers such as: Doug Ferri, Mike Doty, Lynn Haddock, Team Coyote, Chris Carroll, Robert's Kart Shop, Vordermeier Racing, B. Wysocki, Gruber's Kart Shop, J. In 1996 Bonsignore motors won the Junior I Lite championship; the Junior 1 Heavy class; the Junior II Lite class; the Junior II Heavy class and the Stock Heavy class.
Bonsignore Racing offers chassis and technical support at Eastern Kart Racing Association events, and at all clubs visited.
There are two employees at Bonsignore Racing Engines, both of which are drivers-Doug Ferri and Jonathan Steiger.
Bonsignore Racing Engines is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Bonsignore Racing offers over the counter sales, and also takes phone orders.
